DNA Test testing is fast, accurate and confidential. Please review our terms and conditions and contact us with any questions you may have by contacting our offices. Our complete terms and conditions are listed below. Here are a few key points to remember when ordering a DNA Test Kit.
Online Orders. Online transactions use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. When you enter your credit card number and personal information into the DNA Test Secure Order Form, it is transmitted across the Internet in an encrypted (scrambled) form, and decoded once it gets to us. This provides a reliable and confidential ordering environment for your security. Of course, ordering by telephone is also welcome.
Privacy. We respect your privacy and the confidential nature of your case. The DNA specimens and/or the DNA profile data obtained from the DNA specimens are accessible by the client who ordered the service, the sample donor, and all other participants included in the case. We will use your e-mail, mail address and phone numbers only when we are confirming your Internet order or communicating with you regarding your case and or questions. We do not make our customer email list, mailing list, or phone numbers available to other companies.
Samples. A standard storage time of 90 days from the date of reporting is maintained for parentage, identification, maternal, and paternal DNA tests. Once our laboratory information system indicates that the 90 days has elapsed, all remaining samples and their containers are destroyed by incineration. For DNA banking, the DNA is stored for the amount of time agreed on between DNA Test and the client.
Customer Comments. Questions and comments regarding our services are welcome. Our objective is to provide a service that exceeds our customers expectations, and we understand that we could not do this without first listening to our customers' needs and comments.
Terms and conditions for services offered
- We (DNA TEST) warrant that the result of the analysis of biological samples provided to us by you (the customer) is correct but subject to a margin of error of 0.001%. No further representation, warranty, or undertaking is given or made in relation to the result of analysis.
- The information contained in the result of analysis is prepared solely for the use of the customer to whom it is given or sent by DNA TEST/DNA Solutions.
- In the very unlikely event that the result of analysis is found to be in error, we shall refund to you any amount you have paid us in respect of the analysis. Alternatively, we shall perform further analysis at no charge to you, the customer.
- Subject to paragraph 3 above, we shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you or any other person as a result of the provision to you of a result of analysis.
- We make no representation, express or implied, that the result of analysis is fit for any particular purpose. If you intend to use the result of analysis in any court proceeding you should obtain independent legal advice with regard to your legal rights and with regard to the cost and practicalities of so using the result of analysis.
- You warrant that you are legally entitled to possession of the samples you have provided to us. You agree to indemnify us against any loss or damage that we may suffer as result of you providing us with samples that have not been legally obtained. You should obtain independent legal advice about your legal entitlement to take or obtain samples of biological material from persons other than yourself. We make no representation that you are legally entitled to perform any particular act in order to obtain biological samples for analysis.
- DNA TEST gives test results faster than its advertised time in over 99% of cases, no liability is accepted for late results
Refunds/Return Policy
Should you for any reason wish to cancel your purchase you will be liable for a 15% handling fee. You must advise us in writing of your cancellation and any such cancellation must be signed by the person who made the original purchase. The goods must be returned to us undamaged in the original packaging within 14 calendar days
DNA Test recommends that you use a reputable company for all returns as they will offer shipment tracking through a 24 hours customer helpline. Should you choose to use a carrier that does not offer a tracking facility and the goods are lost then no refund or return will be considered.
Broken or damaged products
If the product is broken or damaged when you unpack it, you must let DNA Test know within 24 hours of receiving it. We will make arrangements for the damaged product to be returned to us and get a replacement to you. Alternatively, at our discretion, we may elect to refund you in full for the damaged product.
